Inauguration of Viewpoint@DCMS The Dept. of Commerce & Management Science inaugurated its wall magazine Viewpoint@DCMS on the theme “Changing Global Tariff Structures: India’s Position and Policy Responses.” Chief Guest Dr. Nandkumar Rathi , Regional Director, YCMOU , CSN Region highlighted how global events influence economies, adding that India’s resilience and opportunistic approach can make this an era of self-reliance.Principal Dr. Mazahar Ahmed Farooqui guided the students on the current scenario of international relations and urged them to stay informed about both global and domestic trade developments. Vice Principal Dr. Arif Pathan graced the occasion.Dr. Aparna Saraf, HoD, briefed about the programme. More than 35 students studied the theme in depth, prepared informative posters and presented their perspectives on how shifting global tariffs are reshaping India’s trade and growth opportunities. Their active participation reflected awareness, curiosity, and analytical thinking. The event was convened by Ms. Shazmeen Patel and was successfully organised through the collective efforts of the students and staff of the department.

State-Level Poster Presentation Competition Held at College Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Mazhar Ahmed Farooqui, the Department of Economics organized a State-Level Poster Presentation Competition on “Strengthening Social Order through Scholarship” on 13th October 2025 at Seminar Hall – I. The event began at 11:00 a.m. with Chief Guest Dr. Nandkumar Rathi, Regional Director, Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University. Principal Dr. Farooqui chaired both the first and second sessions. 50 participants from 228 colleges across Maharashtra, including Mumbai, Nashik, Kolhapur, Manmad, and Ahmednagar, showcased 328 posters. The second session included prize distribution, with 17 trophies and 30 medals awarded. All participants received certificates. > “Students’ creativity has the power to strengthen society,” said Principal Dr. Farooqui during the concluding ceremony. The event concluded at 5:00 p.m. with the National Anthem, leaving students motivated and inspired.

Report on Exhibition-cum-Sale Event Organized by the Women Development Cell Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Date: 09 October 2025 Venue: New Science Building Corridor Time: 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Women Development Cell of Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, organized an Exhibition-cum-Sale Event on the theme “Women’s Entrepreneurship: Nurturing Creativity and Innovation” on 9th October 2025 from 10:30 a.m onwards in the New Science Building Corridor under the guidance of Principal Dr Mazahar Ahmed Farooqui. The initiative was conceptualized and executed by Dr. Syed Ummul Khair Asema, Professor, Department of Chemistry, and In-charge, Women Development Cell*. A briefing for the students on increasing product saleability, presentation of the product to customers, marketing strategies, gaining customer loyalty etc was given by Dr.Aparna Saraf which was implemented by the students participating in the exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by Principal, Dr. Mazahar Ahmed Farooqui, at 10:30 a.m. The event was attended by staff members and students from various departments across the campus. A total of 32 girl students from UG and PG programmes participated enthusiastically, setting up stalls displaying handicrafts, cakes, pastries, Arabic calligraphy, and various creative items. The exhibition received an overwhelming response, with more than 150 students and staff members visiting and appreciating the efforts of the participants. The event was graced by the presence of Vice Principal Dr. Arif Pathan, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Aditi Bhattacharya and several faculty members. The program was successfully coordinated by Incharge Women Development cell Dr. Syed Ummul Khair Asema, members of the Women Development cell Dr. Tarannum Tanveer, and Dr. Samreen Farooqui. Dr. Afroz Fatema and Dr. Abdul Ahad was also present Dr. Aparna Saraf was the resource person for orientation session. Memorable Medical Camp Organized in Naregaon by All India Payame Insaniyat Forum and Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science and Commerce Aurangabad ( NSS UG & PG Unit) on 4 Oct 2025. A grand and impactful medical camp was successfully organized in Naregaon through the joint efforts of All India Payame Insaniyat Forum and Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science and Commerce Aurangabad The initiative saw wholehearted participation from the Payame Insaniyat , Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science and Commerce and Corporation School campus, all working with dedication and coordination. A special team of 20 expert doctors from Noor Hospital, Badnapur took part in the camp. These included specialists in orthopedics, pediatrics, gynecology, TB, Surgeon, and other medical fields. The doctors served with deep commitment and compassion, examining patients and distributing free medicines. Nearly 2,000 individuals benefited from the camp, a clear testament to the program’s success and the community’s enthusiastic response. The planning and guidance of Mujib Sahib played a pivotal role, while Mufti Ilyas Sahib along with Noor Hospital extended vital support and services to make the camp possible. Residents of the area hailed the medical camp as a model welfare initiative and offered heartfelt appreciation to All India Payame Insaniyat Forum and NSS UG & PG.
