Report on Exhibition-cum-Sale Event Organized by the Women Development Cell Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Date: 09 October 2025 Venue: New Science Building Corridor Time: 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Women Development Cell of Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, organized an Exhibition-cum-Sale Event on the theme “Women’s Entrepreneurship: Nurturing Creativity and Innovation” on 9th October 2025 from 10:30 a.m onwards in the New Science Building Corridor under the guidance of Principal Dr Mazahar Ahmed Farooqui. The initiative was conceptualized and executed by Dr. Syed Ummul Khair Asema, Professor, Department of Chemistry, and In-charge, Women Development Cell*. A briefing for the students on increasing product saleability, presentation of the product to customers, marketing strategies, gaining customer loyalty etc was given by Dr.Aparna Saraf which was implemented by the students participating in the exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by Principal, Dr. Mazahar Ahmed Farooqui, at 10:30 a.m. The event was attended by staff members and students from various departments across the campus. A total of 32 girl students from UG and PG programmes participated enthusiastically, setting up stalls displaying handicrafts, cakes, pastries, Arabic calligraphy, and various creative items. The exhibition received an overwhelming response, with more than 150 students and staff members visiting and appreciating the efforts of the participants. The event was graced by the presence of Vice Principal Dr. Arif Pathan, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Aditi Bhattacharya and several faculty members. The program was successfully coordinated by Incharge Women Development cell Dr. Syed Ummul Khair Asema, members of the Women Development cell Dr. Tarannum Tanveer, and Dr. Samreen Farooqui. Dr. Afroz Fatema and Dr. Abdul Ahad was also present Dr. Aparna Saraf was the resource person for orientation session. The event concluded on an inspiring note, reflecting the college’s continuous commitment towards promoting women empowerment, promoting creativity, developing self-reliance among its student
