Today, on 06.10.2025 Student Welfare Cell Maulana Azad College, organized a Guest Lecture and Hand's on training program for students on " *Women Empowerment through Government and Private Educational Scholarships " In the Welcome address, Principal Dr Mazahar Ahmad Farooqui Sir, emphasised on benefits of Freeship and different Scholarship schemes. Guest of Honour, Dr. Najumuddin Shamsuddin Sir, in his address gave details on Government and Private scholarships and also focussed on Foreign scholarships offered by the Government of India for the students who wish to pursue higher education from foreign Universities.He answers many queries of the students on different scholarships. Vice Principal Dr Arif Pathan Sir , and IQAC Coordinator *Dr Aditi Bhattacharya and Ms Mahejabin Sayyad* Coordinator, Students Welfare Cell Grace the occasion with their presence. The program comparing was done by Mrs Aamena Farooqui, The introduction of the guest was given by Dr.Mushtaba Quadri, Technical session 1) Government scholarships - Dr. Samreen Farooqui 2) Private Scholarships - Dr. Anis Ahmad 3) Demonstration of Form filling- Mr.Imran Syed A vote of thanks was given by Mrs Shaista parveen Mrs Ayesha Meraj and Mrs Sabiya Pathan took sincere efforts for smooth conduct of the program by maintaining discipline. Many Faculty members and More than 250 students attended the program.
