Maulana Azad College organizes National Seminar cumCultural Programme Foreign Students’ Cell of Maulana Azad College in collaboration with Foreign Students’ Cell of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University organizedNational Seminar in Arabic and Cultural Programme of Foreign Students on 10/02/2025 under the guidance of Principal Dr. Mazahar Farooqui.Hon’ble Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Walmik K. Sarwade has inaugurated the seminar and guided extensively to the participants with his scholarly thoughts. Ms. Renu Prithiani, Zonal Director, ICCR, Regional Office in Mumbai was the chief guest for cultural programme. She elaborated on the ICCR sponsored scholarships including the fellowship programmesto the foreign students.Dr. Suchita Yambal, Director, FRC, Dr. B. A. Marathwada University explained the university guidelines for foreign students in detail whereas Ms. Swati Kedar, API, FRRO, Office of Commissioner of Police, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar focused the rules and regulations applicable to foreign students in her informative speech. Maulana Dr. Abdul Rasheed Madani, formerly Head Department of Arabic, Sir Sayyed College spoke on the Arabic literature extensively.Principal Dr. Mazahar Farooqui highlighted the initiatives of cell and guided the audience through his presidential remarks. Dr. Shaikh Kalimoddin,Incharge of the cell conducted the proceedings of the event whereas Dr. Abdul Ahad proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Aditi Bhattacharya, Dr. Aparna Saraf, Dr. Shaikh Aakhil, Khan Sohail and other the teaching faculty attended the programme and contributed to its success.
