Department of Biotechnology under the guidance of Principal Dr.Mazahar Ahmed Farooqui has organized one day Industrial visit to Ishved Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Sindkhed Raja, Dist. Buldhana on 8th Feb 2024. Ishved Biotech is one of the largest plant tissue culture unit of international standards in Maharashtra engaged in mass production of tissue culture plants belonging to horticulture, Floriculture, Ornamentals, Forest/Timber and Medicinal plants with annual production capacity of 30 Million saplings. The industry being handled by 300+ experienced ladies staff. Ishved Biotech PTC unit is certified by Dept of Biotechnology (DBT) Govt. Of India for quality production of tissue culture planting material with world class genetics. Students visited Plant tissue culture lab starting from callus formation to hardening process in poly houses, followed by doubt clearing session engaged by the GM of company Ms. Dhanshree Mungekar.The college appreciation letters and vote of thanks was given by Mrs. Amena Farooqui. Students also visited Lonar Lake and collected water samples. In this visit HOD. Dr.Reshma Jaweria ,all the teaching staff of Biotech department and 45 students of UG and PG were present.
